DEVELOPING RESILIENT DESIGN CRITERIA FOR EVACUATION CENTRE

Schools and community halls are frequently chosen as disaster evacuation centres during difficult flood incidences. However, the buildings' existing designs facilities designed for their respective uses inefficient relief. Thus, suitability is in doubt. It therefore recommended to apply Multidisciplinary Centre Earthquake Engineering Research, or MCEER 4R’s Resilience Framework, investigate centres' resilience. integrates four primary qualities make a more disaster-resilient centre. These robustness, redundancy, resourcefulness, rapidity. The research method development of criteria document analysis, which used collect qualitative data, includes shelter design considerations, space provisions centre, resilience properties. Various official documents on management, guidelines, frameworks were compile this research. attribute current standards centre inform researchers that each standard embedded features. findings analysis approach will be understand key issues ideas.
